How to Sign a PDF on Android
Android has no built-in PDF signing — but you don't need to install anything. Draw and place your signature right here in Chrome.

Signing in Chrome (no install)
- Tap Choose file above and pick the PDF.
- Draw your signature with a finger — turning the phone sideways gives a wider box — and tap Use this signature.
- Tap the page preview where the signature belongs and set its size with the slider.
- Tap Sign PDF and download the signed copy from the notification shade.
Everything happens on the phone. The signature is never saved anywhere — close the tab and it's gone.
What about the apps you may already have?
- Google Drive — its PDF viewer has a pen annotation mode, so you can scribble a signature. But it's freehand drawing straight onto the page: no way to redo the signature separately, resize it, or place it precisely.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader app — has a free Fill & Sign feature that works well, if you're fine installing a large app and signing in with an Adobe account. Your saved signature is stored with the app.
For a one-off signature on a lease or a form, the browser tool above is the shortest path: no install, no account, nothing retained afterwards.
Is this a legal signature?
It places a drawn image, not a certificate-based digital signature — same as Drive's pen or Acrobat's basic Fill & Sign. Details on the main Sign PDF page.
